Fuel oil transfer sets are designed to supply oil to burners to boilers and warm air heaters. The pumpset is supplied complete with interconnecting pipework, valves, relief valve, pressure gauge and strainer. The pumps are usually positive displacement, progressing cavity or gear type and can be installed on ring main, dead leg or daily service tank systems. We offer a number of different packages to suit different requirements.

Standard set

The standard sets have a maximum flow of 3.1m3hr with a maximum pressure of 3.45 bar. These sets are normally used on lighter fuel oil applications and each set incorporates quite running self priming pumps, isolating and non return valves, pressure gauge, external bypass relief valve and drain rim base plate. These sets are available with ½”, ¾” and 1” BSP ports with 110v/240v/400v motor available.

Industrial sets

Non standard fuel transfer set can also be used on light and heavy fuel oil applications with larger duties. The industrial sets have maximum flow of 100 m3hr with maximum pressures of 12 bar. Each set incorporates quite running self priming pumps, isolating and non return valves, pressure gauge, external bypass relief valve and drain rim base plate. The majority of these sets would be supplied with 400/3/50 motors but we can supply 240/1/50 motors but these will be limited to a maximum flow of 12 m3hr. We can also supply these sets ATEX compliant.

Simplex sets

These sets are a more cost effective solution to your fuel oil application with all the benefits of a standard set but instead of a duty/standard pumps you just get a duty pump. The simplex sets have maximum flow of 100 m3hr with maximum pressure of 12 bar. Each set incorporates quite running self priming pumps, isolating and non return valve, pressure gauge, external bypass relief valve and drain rim base plate.

Stainless steel sets

The stainless steel pumps set can be used on more aggressive oil, Bio diesel or fatty acids.
These sets have maximum flows of 100 m3hr with maximum pressures of 12 bar. Each set incorporates quite running self priming pumps, isolating and non return valves, pressure gauge, external bypass relief valve and drain rim base plate. The majority of these set would be supplied with 400/3/50 motor but we can supply 240/1/50 sets with a maximum flow of 12 m3hr. We can also supply these set ATEX compliant.

Ancillary Equipment

All the above set can be supplied with a number of different options available from standard auto-change over panels to more intricate bespoke units. We can also supply single or duplex strainers both the panel and the strainers can be supplied loose or can be fitted to the base plate.
